With Image Gallery Maker it is possible to create web image galleries that can be published on the web in most popular image formats. The program allows you to work on your galleries offline, saving your projects until you get them just right. Once you are ready to publish to your galleries, the program automatically creates the HTML code for your gallery and image pages. Three styles of galleries are available: a simple style, a light-box style, and a shadow-box style.
When I tried the program to create a new gallery from my own images, I was presented with a familiar Windows-style interface that was easy to navigate. First I selected the Settings menu, which opened a new window where I was able to choose the destination folder for my gallery, a background image, and background color, and some other settings. Next, I added my images and by selecting them individually I was able to add titles for each one. A simple click on the Make Web Gallery button immediately provided me with a preview of my gallery in my browser, allowing me to see how it was coming along. A click on an image in the browser activated a new window displaying the image in a larger size, exactly as I had chosen when setting up at the beginning of my session.
This program is easy to use, and works as fast as you do your work; and most of its parameters such as the dimension of thumbnails, basic light-box properties, backgrounds etc. are customizable.
